CUSTOM FREAKZ

customfreakz2_edited.jpg

This is a logo i made for a custom trainer brand on Instagram. i was important to display the fact that the items produced are custom made for the buyer. There i used elements such as a paint brush, paint drops and a pair of custom trainers within the logo. All of these elements were designed and created using Adobe Photoshop.

I firstly started off by creating the custom pair of trainers as i knew this was import to create as it is a custom trainer brand so i wanted anyone visiting the Instagram page to resonate with this. i found an outline of a pair of Nike Air force trainers and downloaded a colourful Louis Vuitton monogram print. I layered this on the trainers by removing sections of the trainers where i wanted to display the LV print by using the quick select tool. one this was in place, positioned the way i wanted it to be and the print was the right size; i managed to neaten this all up by erasing the excess Louis Vuitton print.  I used the paint tool the enhance the outline of the trainers and all of its little details and filled in other areas of the trainers to show the possible ways the trainers can be customised.

The next thing i did was create the text for the logo. i browsed through dafont texting a sampling a few possible fonts until i settled of this one that complimented the trainer i had created. i downloaded this font and enhanced it on photoshop using drop down shadows and customising its features using colours to compliment those within the trainer design. i positioned the font to the side on top of each other so that the trainer can fit into and feel as one with the text. However they looked a bit strange and just looked like a pair or floating trainers so i decided to create some laced using the paint tool so that they can hang from the text; by doing this i was able to tie the custom trainers and text together

To finish it off i created some dripping paint and a paint brush to further reinforce the purpose of the brand.
